An exciting project to be involved with as it incorporates a diverse range of proposals with the added challenges of designing for an uninhabited island with no pier access or utilities.

Projects on the island include new & restorative work to two ruinous houses, construction of a third dwelling (above), a new all-purpose shed and pier and renewable energy systems to the islands' buildings.  To compliment the built works, an acre tree plantation and a new freshwater fishing loch.

The practice assisted the client with the master planning, carried out the design work and obtained statutory approvals for the various projects.  Speculative design work was also done for  a mainland shore base (above).
